Asian women professionals are the least likely minority group to be promoted into management and executive levels based on a report by the Ascend Foundation. In fact, Asian women professionals are “the forgotten minority in the glass ceiling conversation,” as observed by a Forbes article. The intersectionality of race and gender – being Asian and women – causes Asian women professionals to encounter a double whammy in advancing their careers into leadership and feeling contentment in their professional lives.
